Dr Kim Varma is a UK trained Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatological surgeon. Dr Varma recently relocated to London after working at the Nuffield Hospital at Wolverhampton for 14 years. She currently works at Guys and St Thomas Hospital NHS foundation trust and The London Skin and Hair Clinic.

Dr Kim Varma specialise in cutaneous skin surgery having completed one year post CCT dermato-surgical fellowship at Queens Medical centre, Nottingham in 2009. Subsequently she continued working at the same centre as a consultant Dermatological Mohs surgeon till April 2016.

Dr Varma’s other consultant level experience includes working at City Hospital, Birmingham as a Substantive consultant dermatological surgeon and lead for surgical Dermatology. She was deeply involved with streamlining the surgical coding and organising surgical safety, training and management of theatre staff.

Dr Kim Varma developed extensive management experience in leading teams and developing pathways of safe care. She dealt with various team members at MDTs, ensuring compliance of patients’ care pathways. She had significant experience in running teams and believed passionately in running safe services and championed for better patient pathways.

She has a successful career till date, with a strong bias towards clinical interventions, underpinned by involvement in research and teaching.
