About Professor Annette Fritscher-Ravens

Professor Annette Fritscher-Ravens practices in London and University Hospital Kiel, Germany, where she heads the experimental endoscopy unit.

She specialises in endoscopy and in irritable bowel syndrome and food intolerance, which has also become her main research interest. In 2015, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy appointed her as Ambassador for Myanmar.

Professor Annette Fritscher-Ravens is a Professor of Gastroenterology and Consultant Gastroenterologist at New Victoria Hospital. She specialises in Advanced GI Endoscopy and Paediatric Endoscopy. In recent years she has successfully developed a research scheme in IBS and is now seeing many IBS patients.
