Dr Walton D’Costa is a highly experienced consultant neonatologist and paediatrician with over 25 years of experience. He gained his medical degree from Goa University in 1995 and trained at some of the UK’s most prestigious hospitals, including St George’s Hospital, King’s College Hospital and Evelina Children’s Hospital in London.
Dr D’Costa is based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where he specialises in infant growth and development. He is also a UNICEF-trained breastfeeding specialist and uses the Bayley scales to track infant neurodevelopment.
He sees newborns and children for growth and neurodevelopmental assessments, neonatal care and common newborn and childhood conditions, including fever, coughs and colds, wheezing, feeding difficulties, poor weight gain, reflux and colic, constipation, abdominal pain, skin rashes and eczema.
