A leading British doctor of Lebanese descent, Dr Rami Wakim was educated in Cairo, where he completed his medical internship and subsequent training at Ain-Shams University, before specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology at various hospitals around the world. It was at the prestigious Rizk Hospital in Beirut that Dr Wakim developed his strong interest in in vitro fertilisation (IVF). In the 1990s, assisted reproductive technology was still young and therefore an exciting field to be involved in.
After obtaining his membership of the College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2000, Dr Wakim continued his fertility training with a clinical fellowship at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and Imperial College London. Over the course of 25 years, he has worked with leading professionals in reproductive medicine in some of the busiest clinics, including IVF Hammersmith, the Assisted Reproduction and Gynaecology Centre (ARGC), Harley Street Fertility Clinic (HSFC), Create Fertility, Gennet City Fertility and Reproductive Health Group, among others.
Widely recognised for his clinical expertise and the highest standards of patient care, Dr Wakim continues to collaborate with a number of well-established medical practitioners and clinics around the world that offer effective treatment and state-of-the-art operating facilities.
