Dr Ahmed Elowaidy is highly specialised in abdominal and pelvic radiology and ultrasound, including upper gastroenterology, colorectal and hepatobiliary imaging, gynaecological radiology and uroradiology. He has developed extensive expertise over the years, and his usual scope of work frequently includes complex pathologies and disease presentations.

Dr Elowaidy is also highly experienced in general cross-sectional radiology, oncological radiology and neuroradiology.

He currently holds a substantive NHS consultant post in clinical radiology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Hospital.

before booking

Before your appointment: it is preferable to send us your GP’s referral by email before the consultation.

Preparation: for abdominal, abdominal and pelvic, and KUB (kidneys, ureters and bladder) ultrasounds, please fast for 6 hours before the scan. You may only drink water.

Booking: a prepayment of £70 is taken when you book. The balance is paid on the day of your consultation.

Cancellation policy:

  • More than 72 hours before the consultation: full refund
  • Between 72 and 48 hours before: the £70 prepayment is kept
  • Less than 48 hours before: the consultation is charged in full
